A Jetlagged Introduction

Welcome to my weblog version 2.0. Some of you may remember the xanga site of old which met a sad end, this one hopefully will not suffer such a fate. This is just a journal of my thoughts and experiences abroad, which may or may not be as funny as pictures of Brady's tatoo, we shall see, frankly I just couldn't resist the pun of a name. So, after 8 nice days in Caketown spent lollygagging and not really realizing Id be on the other side of the world in a week, the day finally arived. Our family celebrated fathers day and then I went to the airport, said goodbyes both in person and by phone, and got on the plane for Amsterdam. I thankfully got a window seat (as I can only sleep on my side or stomach that was key), the food was good and I actually slept . . . for like 3 hours, but still good for me. Had a couple of hour layover in Amsterdam, sadly not enough time to visit the red light district as I have always dreamed, "tear," and jetted off to Prague. The city is really beautiful, old cool buildings, winding cobblestone streats etc. The people in the program seem cool, a bunch of us went out to dinner and ran a few minor errands. It was hard to leave behind family, friends and a most wonderful girl, but this promises to be a really fun experience. Now its bed time as I have no brain left.

You'll have time for Amsterdam. Don't worry... nothing is too far in Europe.
